Wood bunk beds are quite popular among the younger generation, and the parents tend to also favor them because there wooden finish allows them to fit into any décor and design. This design is actually becoming quite common, because it allows two kids of different age groups to share a bunk and the fact is that most families will have two are more kids that are not within the same age group or body size. This type of bed allows them to share the same room and still have bed space that is just right for them. The older child can have the full bottom section while the younger child inhabits the twin size bunk top.

Some beds may have drawers attached to the bottom, while others have one bed on top but the bottom section is set like a sofa.
